    Default The PZL P-11 Club

We, that use a PZL P-11 Avatar, demand a sub-forum!!
For what?! You'll ask in dismay.
We don't have to answer that!
We might not know for what but we want it!
If you use a PZL P-11 avatar join us in this quest!
(If your P-11 avatar is a P-11c you are almost a God!)

    Let our voices be heard!
Let the moderator of this fair place tremble with our might!

We should get some individual markings, but I have no experience in avatar modifications and must rely on others...
How did you get the white strip on your plane?
Thanks for posting the picture I hope our dear friend Sven won't have any objection This is purely artistic vision

No chance that I fly this bird.

...even if it has a very nice design.

But there is a new Polish boardgame with this fighter. It's called 111.

...Dennoch schossen sie bei 114 eigenen Verlusten 126 deutsche Flugzeuge ab, darunter neun Messerschmitt Bf 109 und sechs Messerschmitt Bf 110.

    The lost 114 PZL in 1939 and shot down 126 German planes (including 9x Bf.109 & 6x Bf.110).

Yes it is. I already have that little boardgame and it's an advanced version of 303 mechanics

I don't know that game. Links?

The burning me.109 it's only for historical accuracy. It wouldn't be fitting a burning Mustang, now would it? Historically, I mean. because if it was a dogfight between the PZL P-11 (We are legion!) and the Mustang, we would see a burning Mustang, no questions asked, no answers needed!

Now, about my avatar. It was an offer. I didn't create the Avatar. But we can petition that your PZL P-11 has the yellow Heart in it.
    I'll do that.

    Thanks, my friend.
It seems a lovely little game.
    Only in Polish?

Interesting looking game (looked up on boardgamegeek. KISS extreme...(Keep it Simple S...) tempting, if it were not competing with the price of a mini WOG plane.

I have just ordered the History of War Polish set (WWII card game), so a picture of that massively used and extremly popular avatar plane will be in my possession soon. Forget about the sub-forum. You need a dedicated web site..think of the marketing possibilities.

We, the Users of the P-11 Avatar, do not compromise, do not alter our position, do not make understanding deals! We want the sub-forum. We are Legion. And of course accept your offer about Andy's Avatar.
Be sensible, Kevin. Abandon that beautiful blue plane and join our legions with the correct Avatar!

The game came out with multiligual instruction booklet (Pl, Eng, De) in full color with interesting historical intro and data. The components are nice (wooden dice, thick tokens and cardboard). Rules include clouds, fuel and A-A guns. Easy to learn and fast to play. Recommended.

    Thanks, Andy.
It is already in my next acquisitions list.

So it was a waste of my time doing that bloody P37 avatar for you then, Andy?

Definitely NO, Steve! [I still owe you a round]
But due to limited size of the bomber avatar I decided to replace it It looked smaller than the fighters!
I do appreciate your magic work which has been saved for later usage

    As stated in that thread:
121 Fighter Squadron, Polish Air Force
    2nd Lieutenant Waclaw S. Krol

In the information I could find, Krol was the Deputy Commander, but no rank was given. Somewhere it said 'S/Lt', I made a guess at what 'S/Lt' meant in Polish. If someone has better information, I could correct the card.

The Maneuver Deck ZJ is for the four-gun version. Otherwise, it would be ZL for the two-gun version. Damage inflicted and damage resistance is the same for either version, so I went with four-guns.

    As stated in that thread:
You are very correct as to Wacław Król's rank and position, Mike.
I have checked and confirmed your data in the newest book "Aces of the Polish Airforce" by Piotr Sikora, Warsaw 2014.
Thank you for a beautiful card of his .
    Much appreciated.

    "S/Lt." usually indicates "Sublieutenant".

In the case it is being used as the abbreviation for 'Sous Lieutenant'. Krol served with the Armee del'air in 1940 and as with all Polish pilots was given a temporary French commission at the same rank held with the Polish armed forces.

A pity the Polish government didn't spring for PZL-24s.

"Sous-Lieutenant" is French for "Sub-Lieutenant" (literally, "Under-Lieutenant"; see also "sous-chef"), so same thing, really.
