What is the quality of Shapeways printed stuff? And was it expensive for you to get hold off?

It depends on material you choose for printing. Many of us choose the cheapest one WSF (White Strong Flexible) and is quite all right for a gaming table "point of view". It fits my needs very well.

    Examples:

UPS delivery of 4 - 8 minis (very light) from the Netherlands to Poland costs about 8 Euros.

Hi Mal, it depends on the material used and the designer as well. Some price their designs around 6 euros, some around 8 some higher.
this latest set for 3 aircraft (WSF), a set of 72 pilots (FUD) and 24 observers (FUD) came out around 56 euros, or £45 including the 8 euro postage. The aircrew were the expensive bits, but they will last me a long time.

this is hopefully going to end up 46cm (18") by 270cm (9ft) in our local museum, in 1/76 scale, approx 4mm-1ft I should get 140+ scale yards between front lines, so people can see just how far the PBI had to go under fire to reach their objectives. 140 yds is below average distance as well!

I've put this in a blog

This is great. I also want to follow this project if you're kind enough to post it here somewhere.
