I take my hat off in respect at the passing of another legend.

Rest in Peace.
Thank you for your service, Mr. Overstreet. May you rest in peace.
Salute!!
What a move !
Another old pilots passes. R.I.P.
An inspiration for many plus us all. He will be missed.
We thank you for your service Mr. Overstreet and mourn your passing. There were so many unsung heroes of WWII and they are slowly leaving this place. I can only hope my son's generation learns of your sacrifices and respect and honor you the way that we do.
Rest in peace, you have earned it.
Bob
Thank you for sharing. Rest in Peace Captain Overstreet.

At 92 I can only think of the things he saw and did in his lifetime. Not many of that generation left.
St. Peter: "Well, I guess this isn't the first time you've passed under an arch while wearing wings...."

You mean like crystal radio sets to a the cell phone! In your link the first photo Overstreet was taken at the MAM. The man seated behind him in blue shirt is Hans Meyer a late war ME-109 pilot.
Rich
I should have recognized the place from the photo. You must have seen many folks because of the Hanger Series offered at the MAM.
What a move ,,rest in peace....and thank you.
