Alright all. Just dropping in to say hello, I finally splashed the cash on WOW, have myself 7 single seaters and 1 caproni, rules an acces pack, which I stupidly thought would contain the card planes like the old WOW, read the small print man! One city mat and a coast on the way. Fingers crossed I can convince more of locals down the club, to play...

Welcome aboard! Best of luck in securing targets... er... opponents.

Welcome Si! Set up those planes & mats when you get them for a demo, & you're quite likely to have players gravitate towards it. Good news is, there are LOTS of players from your side of the pond, so if your local club doesn't produce opponents I'm sure you'll find a group in no time. There are also a robust & well tested set of solo rules as well, so there are always options!

Cheers guys, it does get played on the odd occasion, however it would be nice to get more in. Where can I find the solo rules?
Forgot to say I've got series 7 pre-ordered, two seaters hmm hhmmmm.

Welcome from across the pond, Si.

Check out the forum below. It is for a solo campaign currently underway. The first few posts have rules, and the third post has links to solo charts for the AI aircraft. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.

    We're glad you are aboard.

Welcome to the Aerodrome, Si, from here near Norwich. There are some solo rules available if you look in the 'House Rules' section of the 'Files'. Click on the heading 'Files' at the top of the page.

The two seater thing came about after my 2nd game, there was an albatross (I think, it was last year) gunning it towards a wingman of mine going for the kill, i attracted it's attention, got him to tail me ( by waving my shapely backside), drew him off an mowed him down with my rear m.g. it was awesome.
Cheers for all the welcomes, vey friendly, spot on.
I've been looking at the solo rules, they look great. It appears I need more toys, aaww shu ks. My coastal map turned up earlier.

We'll have to pass along a dispatch to all our Aerodromes that all commanding officers should have a word with their men about making sure to attack all 2 seaters in the blind spot!

Hello Si, and welcome to the 'drome from here in Tunbridge Wells - if you can ever get up this way on a Sunday when TWWS has a meeting I am sure that, with a bit of warning, we can have a game running

This is a great place to land & we have a wonderful group of chaps who are dedicated to the game!
However one small word of warning----Don't get into a Gin & Tonic drinking contest with Mr Kyte!
    You are sure to lose.

No worries there mate, gin ain't my thing! Now give me beer an whiskey an I'm all yours. Lots of social too, thanks. Wow tyneside do solo star wars, can't say I'm surprised.
On the subject of solo in the new tyneside campaign, are the albatross D.V's, nieuports 17 or( 24 , spads xiii just answered that myself by reading campaign notes )
Have been umming n arhing about triplanes or albatross, they are both beautiful in their own way, think I'll get both.
In regards to the below apart from not being easy to find or cheap.
Has the Roland got a unique set up and/or is there a way I can replace it for the scenarios?
The same pretty much the goes for the UFAG and Halberstadt bombers (series 7?)
    Any help appreciated.
