Thanks all. You have to have a bunch of these as they only have a B gun at close range, A long. Not much punch but they are as agile as the Zero.

    All,
Please note that the Unofficial Stats Committee has downgraded the Damage Resistance of the Ki-43 I versions, and I have updated the above cards to reflect that change. Effective Nov 2019.

Although nowhere near as beautiful as some of the other works of art in this forum, here are my Hayabusas. Still have to lacquer the ones without the props, but they’re almost done. Just got done decaling them. I need to make two more of the aluminum/squiggle pattern camo models to have a nice little wing of them as well. Looking forward to getting them on the table soon!

Nice flight Dave. Too bad I've flown back south, it may be a while until I get to see them all in flight.

Here are the cards I made for the four Hayabusas above. I put them here in case anyone ever wants to paint a plane to match them. Some parts of the plane card can be just as hard as getting a good paint job! Once you have a template and clean one-line for a given plane, it goes pretty good. Getting to that point can take a long time sometimes!

Yes, nice and iconic planes, Dave. Nicely painted . I also made some of them for my games, but the first game against Wildcats was very disapointing and frustrating for Japanese players due to their toy-ish armament.
Something is wrong with those nimble but outgunned planes in WGS. X-Wing handles it better IMHO, rating all ships with green defense (number of dice) points. The more versatile ship, the harder to hit it.

    Dear Andy,

I just read this post now.

I think that it is very easy to compensate the weakness of the weapons of early Japanese planes and still be historically accurate.

Add 1 A damage chip for experienced pilots.
Add 1 A damage chip for firing to the rear part of the target plane.
Add 1 A damage chip for firing consecutively.

If taking fire from a green / regular opponent pilot take two damage chits and choose the worse.

You'll see that with these rules you will more than compensate for the lack of feel in the early part of the war.

    Best regards my friend.

Also, make sure you give it the extra maneuver cards to make it nimble.

    Thanks for your help, chaps!
    I like your idea, Joaquim.
New C deck is already printed and used for Zeros and Hayabusas.
