These AIR200 planes got much richer with this excellent painting job.
These are beautiful, Baz! REP!
Very finely done Baz.
I like my AIM models too.

Oh, those look nice as well. Hrm. Might have to obtain some for "comparison" purposes only.

Very nice and neat. I totally agree with your endorsement of AIM. The models paint up nicely and he's got a good selection of decals.
That looks great!
My word.
That underside transition takes a steady hand Cisco.
Well done.

Thank you , not an easy one because it's a old model with not a lot of engraving details
Painted these a few years ago. AIM minis Testors acrylic paint. US Navy blue gray top non specific gray lower surfaces
all planes shown here are beautiful, but Fox's are really extremely beautiful
deserved REP fired

My new TBF Avengers. Planes courtesy of AIM and decals courtesy of MiscMini. VT-2 on board the USS Hornet. Yes, I am using Heavy Fighter bases (light bomber bases) for them. Their wingspan is 54' so I felt that combined with the triple gun arcs easily justified the base decision. Bases were courtesy of Aerodrome Store.
Nice work!
Hornet II (CV-12) or Hornet I (CV-8)?
I see an "Essex" Class carrier i the photo, so I suspect the former.

CV-12
Lovely work, when I was a kid I spent a lot of Saturday's climbing and playing on them . . . I think there were two stationed at Missoula for fire bombing back then . . .
Good to se a few different aircraft being painted up Kirk.

Nicely done. And yes, Heavy fighter base is appropriate for the Avenger.
