So, we got a preview image of the Felixstowe F.2A a few months ago...
and had some trouble decoding the front firing arcs, particularly the "B" arc. Problem is, it looks like the "A" arc should connect to the LoF indicator coming back from the nose, and the "B" should connect to the line at right angles from the centerline at the cockpit. But, the "B" arc clearly terminates at the line from the nose.
Now that the set has been released, we can see that the Curtiss H.16, which is a very similar plane, with presumably similar nose armament, has identical demarcation, except that the "B" arc does terminate on the perpendicular line, like it appears it should on the Felixstowe.
So, is that the correct interpretation for the Felixstowe markings? Should it be an official erratus? I'm hoping Andrea can pop in with a definitive answer; not sure where he's most active these days.
