Just sitting here watching a baseball game and they wished the United States Air Force a Happy Birthday. Being Army I didn't know that today was when the Air Corps became the USAF. So to all you AF vets out there THANKS.

Thank you, Bob.
The USAF were some of the best years of my life.
I am sure any vet, no matter what country, hold those days as a special time. My gaming buddy is a friend from Viet Nam (41 years ago). I remember playing Panzer Blitz with him. I am sure we all have great memories of the time with our close friends.
Happy Birth Day, USAF!

I note the USAF has the same traditions about swords. They are only useful as cutlery! The only time swords get signed out of the armory in Canadian Air Bases are for exactly what's in the picture above. All our weapons techs are Army, and they definitely get their faces in a knot when the requisition comes in, as they know they will be cleaning icing out of the scabbard.

Happy Birthday USAF Knights of the Skies
On behalf of the British Squadrons, a very Happy Birthday to all our USAF allies over the pond.
Kyte.
Happy Birthday USAF
From a RAF vet to all the USAF vets Happy Birthday and lots of respect.
Happy Birthday USAF
A happy Birthday to the USAF. I have spent many wonderful hours walking through the AFM over the years. I will think of my late uncle who spent the Korean War running a bulldozer and building airfields in Korea. He passed on some sound military advise to us kids. If you have to sleep in a tent and on a cot, find, buy or steal a air mattress! He said Korea had two seasons sub Zero or Hell. My older brother and two older first cousins all spent 18 months there in the 60`s all returned with the same opinion.

Happy Birthday to our allies in the U.S.A.F.!

(At least, this is how my AF associates express it.)
