Here is re-Pete. This one I did as a well used seasoned veteran.
AIM model, Vallejo paints, Miscmini decals, spinning props by Keith. Model Air painted with a brush, 71.325 IJN dk. black green, 71.311 IJN ash grey.
I took these photos out under our dogwood. The shadows from the leaves made me think of cloud shadows.
Very nice Peter

Wow! Great job on those, Peter.
Great job on your namesake planes, Peter.
Really good job on those Petes Pete -
Thanks guys.
Don't know if these are an improvement.

If some of these are from BlueprintBox.com, and not using a subscription, they are so small for dpi, or quality, as to be unuseable.
If the images are jpg'ed, and compressed, especially if they are grey-scaled, the lines get very blurred. Images that are at 150 dpi, or better, 300 dpi, as well as 2400 px or more, are usually worth working into line drawings. You can see the jaggy lines, particularly on curved lines in my drawing, along with the poor detail in some areas. The original was 72 dpi, but very large. Still didn't save it when I attempted to remove the white. Internet images use a lot of dithering (grey scale pixels) to make lines appear smooth on screens.

Excellent Peter! Rep gun is jammed. I need to do a dark green one like yours. The one I did a few months ago is the early war pale grey-green.
Mike, I emailed you a clean PSD file of a one-line I've been working on. If I upload it here, it will get compressed. Let me know what you think!
Yeah. That! I'll give it a try.
However, if you did that as a retrace using Illustrator or Photoshop, that is a lot more work that I'd like to consider for plane cards. Not that I haven't done partial planes, or mods of drawings to make a different version of a plane. But, to do all the planes, it would need a bit of remuneration.

Very nice pair of Petes, Pete!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
One of my newest acquisitions is a Mitsubishi F1M Pete, so I wanted to revive this thread. Was there any progress with finding a quality line drawing that Mike could use to create a card?
None that I have found.

The Petes I did are definitely Kamikawa Maryu. YII-3 was abandoned at Rekata Bay. No assigned pilot I can see.
Great card as usual Mike! I have a list of all the planes Karl has given stats for since the Unofficial list came out. Karl has given it as, Mitsubishi F1M Pete. Deck: P(z); Guns: A/A plus A/A rear arc. Damage: 14; Ceiling: 10; Climb: 6
Another excellent card!!! A big thank you to Mike and everyone involved. My enjoyment of this game has increased over the years thanks to all of the helpful people on the Aerodrome site. I sincerely appreciate all of you for helping me incorporate a very large collection of unofficial planes into my gaming scenarios.
So, just for the record:
Card inspired by the model by Pete [Teaticket], and having the stats on hand!
Karl [Jager] did the stats, originally.
Steve [Guntruck] had a good drawing for the base image.
I did the modifications to the template to produce the card.
Awesome collaboration, team!
