Here's a plug for my local air museum, the Military Aircraft Preservation Society, based on the north end of Akron-Canton airport.
They had an article in the Sunday, so I found these two links:

It's been a couple of years since I've been; I need to find the pictures I took and post them.
It's a nice aircraft museum that's off the beaten track, so doesn't get the local attention it deserves.

BTW: there's an WW2-themed restaurant nearby (other end of the airport) that's quite nice; a little pricey, but a Sunday buffet and all you can eat prime rib on Wednesdays.
