True to scale?

Are the miniatures truly 1/144th scale? It seems that the SPAD XIII may be a bit small and the Dr.I a little too big. I could be missing something here.

The Fokker triplane and Nieuport models are almost exactly the same size as the 1/144 scale Skytrex models and the SPAD XIII is almost the same size as the Skytrex SPAD VII (so it might be a touch undersized). Close enough for me.
