The new card on the left & an old WoW card on the right. In the centre an Original card laid on top of one of Dave's creation. The only deficiencies are from my dodgy cutting skills & even these are hardly noticeable.
Still need to cut the corners but I'm waiting for my corner cutter to arrive in the post.

The new cards are slightly thicker than the originals but this isn't really a detraction. I rate these cards A for awesome. These will make my shapeways planes just that much more "authentic". Yes they're time consuming to make but just so worth it.

On another note, I've recently added the XB and XC decks to the Mediafire account if anyone needs them. http://www.mediafire.com/folder/cssi...of_Glory_Decks

Also, the decks on Mediafire have all been converted over to Guntruck's version of the card faces. Eventually, I will be making another pass through the decks so that they each have all of the card numbers. In the current iteration you print several of the same card for straights, for instance. So you might have three of the #1 card instead of one each of #1, #2, and #3. Not a big issue from a playable stand point, but it chafes my OCD tendencies just a little.
Excellent, now I can get an deck created for the BE2c shapeways miniature I bought in a fit of madness. I might even get some F.B.5 Gunbus's as well just to prove I really am an idiot! Although first I need to paint what I've already got as well as cut & glue the 11 maneuver decks I currently have (4 done already).

    Very impressive Noel.
Dave started the ball rolling and you have run with it.
You have certainly solved a problem that was starting to afflict those of us who build our own aircraft.
With Dave's cards, the Oberst's bases and Ares pegs, we have the complete game set and match at last.

And Guntruck, he did the design of the card faces!

And yet another thanks to Gunners then.
Why am I not suprised that he had a finger in the pie along the way!

It gets faster. I did 9 decks (I think) for Clipper, 4 for another forum member, and about 8 decks for myself. I can definitely do them a lot faster now then when I started. My biggest problem is after folding and creasing a few decks, the tip of my finger gets a little numb.

I'm investigating the possibility of using a pasta roller for creasing the cards and pressing them after gluing... One of these things... http://www.amazon.com/Roma-Tradition...s=pasta+roller

I've been poking around rummage sales, hoping to find one on the cheap to try it. Don't want to spend much, since I may have to modify it and may fail horribly to make it work. But no luck yet.

David, I am having trouble to download the Boom Cards. All of the other files downloaded fine. Can you have a look at it, please ?

These are masterworks, really. But judging this by the time/effort ratio I'm afraid I won't ever go down that lane.
Being rather lazy and simple solutions fan, when I felt I need another rare, old maneuver deck I just (pssst!) scanned one set of my decks, printed them in 100% size on my colour printer on a sticky paper, cut the cards and sticked them to regular playing cards deck just aligning carefully the bottom line to the edge. Now I have just bigger size maneuver deck, more or less as big as the new WGS late war planes cards. That simple.
