May be it is too early, but in the other case, we will play only 3+1 missions. I am counting much more with Saturday's debriefing, but it is open for discussion

Guys,
I will discuss this with the Better Half, but there is a sale on a River Cruise that departs Nuremberg on 1 Jun! If we fly into Prague for the weekend before the trip, we can jump down to Nuremberg on the Sunday, and cruise the Danube.
Any itineraries for Better Halves that don't have the addiction? Help me sell this to the Financial Adviser, guys.
Mike
That is the good news, Mike!
You would be wholeheartedly welcome
It's fairly easy to convince the Adviser
1. Prague is the most beautiful city in Europe. Duel me those who deny!
2. There is Bata shop selling ladies' shoes right in the city's centre.
3. There is no beer like Czech beer in Prague.
4. There is no bridge like Karluv Most.
5. There is no old town like Mala Strana.
6. There is no clock like Orloy Clock,
7. There are no nights like nights in Prague.

"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
Guys i would add a box to our XLS Timetable, where people could sign up for particular missions. That would keep us in the picture for how many people the particular mission shall be designed.
There is a Baťa shop about 3 minutes from LGS (where we will play) and about 1 minute from the pub (where we will debriefing our missions ).
Andrzej told the best from Prague, I might add there is no bigger castle then Prague Castle and no road like Royal Road
(By the way, Andrzej, did you visit Tallinn's Old Town? Very, very nice!)
Made a reservation for Botel Racek, too.
My wife is not that amused, but I think I can charm away her doubts with the Prague visit in March.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Pilots, the situation on the front is good, but we need more brave sol... eeeeh... Game Masters. If you would like to participate on Prague Con missions (WWI or WWII), just write about it here or into the sheet of Timetable). It is easy and you can try:
- realize you missions in international team,
- test them for 6+ players,
- organize 2 hours of your favourite game,
- be one of the heroes of the Con
If you need to make a picture how it looks, you can check the first Pre-Con AAR: Battle of France.
Management Team needs you!
My main priority for this Con is a/one cooperative mission with Andrzej.
I think we played every game on different sides the last two Cons.
Besides this I'm able to GM a few game, too.
Maybe a standart WW I bombing mission with a big one: Clipper's Caproni Ca.4 and a few WW II games (just what you need - dogfight, Stuka bombing, escort mission, He.111 bombing run with BF.110 fighter escort.)
I think Honza has a few ideas, too and I really hope that we can persuade Watchdog, to host one little A-H WW I mission.
I have to work on my WW II Origins mission, too.
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Fine, Caproni sounds good There is many free slots for WWI missions if you want to join. And if you want, you can "recycle" some Origins missions
And the Saturday's WWII program is almost full (I am still waiting for Africa of Pacific mission for the third slot), but there is a free WWI slot on Friday (play what you want) and Sunday (minor theatres). I think Kubajs could have and idea for the epic evening WWII battle (something completely new).
That is my idea as well, Kamerad! Let me book a place for you in one of the two Oeffags of Kościuszko Squadron for 1920 scenario, hoping to fly mission together against Red Air Force
On the other hand I would gladly cover your six in a WGS scenario in a Messerchmitt over France.
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
The Big Saturday Game proposition:
"The Clash of Aces"
Rules:
1. We will use a deck of playing cards equal the number of participants, red/black to draw blindly from. Blacks join the CP side, Reds - Entente.
2. Every player chooses a plane of his/her side plus (secretly) one of the official Ace Abilities. The abilities are then revealed to others before the start of the game.
3. Both squadrons start facing each other on the opposite sides of the table.
4. Resurrection rule is on (1 turn penalty).
5. Points: +2 for a kill. -2 for being shot down, -1 for leaving the table voluntarily. Team with most points wins, individual pilots scores are counted to claim the Ace of Aces.
Feel free to modify rules above.
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
Like it!
What about the era of the Clash of Ace? 1918 or something earlier?
Interesting issue
I think 1917/18 types are the most interesting and well represented, but it is up to the players to decide which plane they love to fly. In the Big Origins game, Keith supported us with 3 stages of planes for each player, like: Albatros DIII - Fokker Dr.I - Fokker D.VII if I remember well, so a downed pilot reappeared with a more advanced plane, but I would not dare to apply such advanced system in our game!
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
As I said. If my final exams are the week after the Con, I won't risk ruining my future career by not spending the weekend learning. If my final exams are the week before the Con, I am going to spend the weekend away from Prague, with my family.
I am afraid this Con will have to go without me.
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
Last night we had a playtest of my scenario: Returning to base
All ideas and comments are welcome!!
I also see that I'm together with Kubajs for the "Gold WWII Mission for 10+ Players: Help Rommel!, 1943; Kubajs & Thomatchef". Is there a topic where that mission is discussed? I assume its going to be a mission with some large airplanes maybe?
I'm also sad to hear this. I'd really hoped you would find some spare time to join us for a game. Maybe a break for an hour just to stop by and say hallo?
I however fully understand you decision and hope you exams go well!!!
Help Rommel! (may be called Oil for Rommel) is the idea of the battle over the Mediteranean sea, when Allies fighters try to stop one or two Vikings (Blohm and Voss 222) with some escort carrying oil for Africacorps. I really appreciated the pre-con mission with you, Thomas, last year, so I bought one Viking too. And I think this is the great way how to use it.
Another idea for Con from my side is the WWI mission "Stop the Zeppelins". I have very playable Zeppelin card with maneuvers (many times tested) and now I'm working on the miniature (maybe two). The card is 40cm long and the miniature 52cm - I know it's not in the same scale as planes, but it's very good for playing. The goal of the scenario is to shot down the Zeppelin (or two for more people) before they reach the line on the map representing the border of Paris or London. In the case the more people will be interested, I must start to work on the second Zeppelin. Please write here. And please let me know if you prefer London and English defending planes or Paris and French defending planes.
Sorry Thomas, I did not send you a PM about it. Kubajs show me his Viking and we think thst this plane (or planes) is cool for big evening battle. Kubajs also said me about your passion for this type and I write your name with his to the timetable. Sorry for surprise, but you found it just too quickly. Hope it is OK.
Sounds cool! I'm repainting a second Bv222. Now that I know the mission I will bring them both to Prague! I also have 2 desert Me109's and A Spitfire, Hurricane, Beaufighter and Martlet in Desert colors. I still need to send you the editable files for the cards. My apologies for not doing so, but I keep forgetting it. I'll have to look at that filesharing site you send me and will do it asap this time!
I'm glad you enjoyed that mission!
Not a problem at all! It is a pleasant surprise. As said above I'm repainting a second one. But I was going to leave them home to make room for other mini's to bring. Now that I know they are planned to fly I'll defenitely bring them with me!
Enlist me for a WW I mission please.
Friday or Saturday - 2 hours duration
It's called CAPRONI'S REVENGE.
Players 7 (+1 co-pilot/GM)
2 gaming mats (coast & city)
1 Caproni Ca. 4 (pilot with ace ability)

Mission is based on a mission we have flown at Prague Summer Con 2012.
AAR & Mission description will follow as soon as possible
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Added. Thank you for your mission
If I find the time, I'll add all the info in the OP. I'll also link to the Pre-Con AAR's.
You're welcome.
Here is the (old) AAR and mission briefing.

Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
I am planning to land in Prague on Thursday evening, a day before the Con, just spend the Thursday night walking around the Old Town and be well prepared for Friday duties. What are your arrival dates, chaps?
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
Well I should arrive on Friday. Airplane should land on 22h15. It will take a while to get my luggage and get outside the airport. Then finding public transport to the hotel were I'll probably crash-land into my bed. Hope to be up on Saturday early to be there on time in Ladinek's shop.
My plane leaves on monday 11h30 so still have some time sunday noon and monday morning to visit the city. Anyone wanting to guide me? I've seen the well known place but I'm curious to walk the less beating path...
Can one of our local friends help me with sorting out my public transport from and to the airport? No idea were to look and how to arrange it. Are there busses? Do they still ride that late? I would prefer not to take the taxi as I'm on a tighter budget than last year (orders from SWMBO )
Looking forward to meeting you guys again!
Where will you stay in Prague, Thomas? According to my HQ orders we will be stationed at Bologna Residence again
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
chaps, just confirming that, due to a "perfect storm" of work and personal issues I will not be able to join you in Prague this year
Good news, Sven. Take off time: Friday afternoon at Ladinek's.
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
Damn, wasn't allowed to leave early on friday because we are on family weekend. Will miss already a lot of the action it seems...
I'm arriving late so not sure if I'll be able to join the debriefing either... (But would love to!)
Joaquim, for plannig of public trnasportation is best to use www.idos.cz, idealy in combination with www.mapy.cz. Or send me a PM where will you stay and I will send you the best way there
David, sorry fot that. We will miss you.
Edit: Ah, Bologna. I will send you a PM in the evening.
Bad news, David...
Jelena and I have three options (due to my terrible work schedule):
a) arrival on Tuesday, depart on Sunday morning (acceptable gaming option)
b) arrival on Friday morning, depart on Monday morning (the best gaming option)
c) not to arrive at all (the worst option)
Dear friends, there is an another thing to consider. May be you know, may be not, there is a new stuff in AA - an Aerodrome glass. Herr Oberst mentioned a trophy for winner of another Con and he is able to prepare one for us too. In thia moment, I do not know anything about design or even price, but I want to know you oppinion - do you think that something like "trophy" is a good prize for "winner" (the pilot with the most shooted planes) of Con?
"We do not stop playing when we get old, but we get old when we stop playing."
Huh, Andrzej has another avatar... The world is ending...
Herr Oberst told me about some other thing for the first one (a nice surprise for all of us), but for the second and third these glasses would be fine
By the way, when will you team come and how many members will have?
OK, here are the public transportation options. Thomas, can you copy that to the first post?
Vaclav Havel Airport -> Residence Bologna (Konviktska 5, Old Town):
On the Airport buy a ticket for 32 CZK and catch bus No.119 on the bus stop and go to the terminus station "Dejvicka". When you arrive at "Dejvicka", go into the metro station and go by metro A in direction "Depo Hostivar". The second station is "Malostranska" - leave the train here go up and find the tram No. 22 (direction to "Nadrazi Hostivar") and go to the tram stop "Narodni divadlo" (National Theatre). The last part you must go on foot.
(map of the route from tram stop)
Residence Bologna (Konviktska 5, Old Town) -> Prague Con place (Zitomirska 30, Vrsovice):
For this route you can buy just 24 CZK ticket. Go to the tram stop "Narodni divadlo" and catch the tram No.22 (direction "Nadrazi Hostivar"). When you reach the stop "Vrsovicke namesti" (after aprox. 15 minutes), leave the tram, turn the first street left and go up to the second street to shop on the corner (Svet deskovych her, big windows).

Vaclav Havel Airport -> Botel Racek (Praha - Podoli):
On the Airport buy a ticket for 32 CZK and catch bus No.119 on the bus stop and go to the terminus station "Dejvicka". When you arrive at "Dejvicka", go into the metro station and go by metro A in direction "Depo Hostivar". The third station is "Staromestska" - leave the train here go up and find the tram No. 17 (direction to "Sidliste Modrany"). After aprox. 11 minutes in tram, you will stop at "Kublov". The last part you must go on foot.
(map of the route from tram stop)
Botel Racek (Praha - Podoli) -> Prague Con place (Zitomirska 30, Vrsovice):
For this journey, you need just 24 CZK ticket, but the planned time is exactly 30 minutes (the time of 24 CZK ticket), so I recommend buy a 32 CZK ticket for sure.
Go the the "Kublov" stop and catch the tram No.3 (direction to "Vozovna Kobylisy") and go to the stop "Karlovo namesti" (a big Square with park). When you will be there, leave the tram and go down to the underpass and immediately up (you need to cross the road). Here, catch the tram No.22 (direction "Nadrazi Hostivar"). When you reach the stop "Vrsovicke namesti" (after aprox. 11 minutes), leave the tram, turn the first street left and go up to the second street to shop on the corner (Svet deskovych her, big windows).

Will do that! Now I'm on a tablet so will do that when I'm home on the pc! Thank you for the advice! I arrive around 22h15. Does the bus still ride that late?OK, here are the public transportation options. Thomas, can you copy that to the first post?
No problem, Thomas. The bus No.119 operates from 4:16 to 23:34 (times of leaving Terminal 2).
Thanks Daniel, that is a very useful info

It sounds fine - but I would ammend on resurrectors. Maybe they should start new entry weakened (-2 for second, -4 for third etc.)? I guess if resurrector enters undammaged, (s)he have unfair advantage ove others. In addition, (s)he could enter at lowest level currently in the game.
I totally understand your point of view, Heмaњa, but will strongly oppose, if you please It is a matter of tactics factor as well to watch the game and try to guess which one of the enemy planes would be an easy game Everyone will have the same chance to enter the fight anew. It will be a nice bonus especially for those who end up very early due to explosion
