These planes are my favorite! Does anyone know what the link is for the 190 scale F4U Corsair? By the way, those models look really good!
Nate Hobby Lobby sells New Ray planes so you might be able to find one there.
Well, we might have to get some Corsairs in the air at next Origins?
Good looking Corsair Phillip.
I would never have guessed the explanation for the white lines. Thank you for explaining it.
A very neat rendering of the aircraft as usual Phil.

Always good to see another Corsair ready for the table - well-played, PM! How do you like the BRS planes? Pleased overall?
All the best,
Matt
pretty pleased with them overall. had some flash/trimming issues but not overmuch. the weirdest thing were their japanese kates. the torpedoes were offset off center line, i presume to make room for their peg system. they looked odd to me so i had to modify them and make my own torpedoes to go center line bisected by the peg. but, as my friend tom (merlin14) wanted his kates redone as well, it got me 2 tbd devastators for fabricating and mounting torpedoes for his kates and tbds.
mounting them is easy as, most often, i can use their mounting hole to put a wings friendly peg into.
what i really like are the variety available and they plan on producing. was talking to their rep at origins about upcoming a/c and, among others; wildcats, b-24s, b-26s, b-29s, and me 262s in 1/200 were mentioned!!!
B-24's in 1/200 scale... Hallelujah!!!

Nice corsairs, Fox. I'm sure they'll beat up anything they meet on the table.

made by a refrigerator manufacturer. no wonder theyre so cool.
Interesting video.
Yes, the Corsair was a beast of a plane for carrier ops; the long nose didn't help. But a great plane in the air.
I "flew" against a pair of them in a PBEM Fighting Wings game: I was in an Fw.190A-4. I couldn't outrun it, out turn it, out climb it, and barely out dive it.
And also a tire maker, in Akron (helped by a friend of mine's grandfather!).
