Default Official Fokker D.VI Painting Thread

So I wonder, if anyone else has build/painted a Fokker D.VI:

I´ve done mine in full-collor-lozenge fabric (decals) - as most early machines - later ther were 4-, 5-color and mixed lozenge fabric in use.
It seems that the welded fuselage were stored a while until rotary engines where available (Balkenkreuz on fuselage generally used March - April 1918) and the wooden wings were build at time, when the engine was there to be installed (Balkenkreuz on wings generally used May 1918 until wars end).
Sometimes 4-and 5-color-lozenge-fabric varied between fuselage and wings.

I finally dug this out of my storage and decided to abandon all hope of my being able to apply lozenge deal to it - as it's a one off I decided to give it my personal 'Patriotic Hun' scheme to get it done.
Had a bit of an issue with the white paint, as you will see, I'll put it down to dodgy Fokker finishing !
    Anyway here it is:

I used old GW Blood Red paint - I used Humbrol 64 acrylic grey for the tyres, snakebite leather for prop & sskid, blacks, gunmetal, vermin fur for other bits & pieces, inc Peter Pig pilot.

I've thought for years used the O deck but now I see is assigned the U deck..? Was it ever O ?? Think I'd prefer the O deck myself.

Here is my fictional Fokker D.VI. Still I do not have "balls" to do lozenge. But with Pfalz D.XII on my table now, it will be inevitable.

    Lovely D.VI, Georg!

I've not done any of these myself - maybe I should...
