A New 'Fire in the Sky' from Ares Games

Ares games have announced a new WW2 strategy and tactics board game called 'Fire in the Sky'. It has no connection with Wings of Glory. it is currently scheduled for release in June 2021.

I have the first edition (pictured in the post above), but have never gotten to play it. While it is by no means an air combat game, it is very highly regarded by players of Pacific War games, and people have been clamoring for years for it to be reprinted. I can tell you the game is physically gorgeous, and reading the rules, it looked to be a really good design.

"no connection with wings of glory" = no interest from me. sorry ares its wings of glory or nothing.

Again, obviously not an air combat game, but the original release of this game is quite highly regarded.
