Superb landscape Peter. I had heard that Americans were very keen on vacationing at Cape Cod.
    Now I can see why.

I live in the 2nd oldest country in Europe.
It's a small country but during sometime it had the megalomaniacal idea that it own half the world.
    It's here:

    mapa_mundo.gif

In 2011 made 900 years old. Some people think that Portugal is part of Spain... We're older than Spain...

    I live here:

Well, not really here. More... like... here:

And these are some of the girls that work with me in Odivelas. They're nice... and not the most beautiful in Portugal, but quite lovely.

I could show you monuments and all that, but I prefer to show you the park where I stop to think, meditate and make Tai Chi Chuan.

People mostly come for the beaches. They are nice for local beaches but nothing compared to Pacific or Caribbean beaches. In my mind coral sand beaches are the best.

It's been a long time sense I was on this thread. I'm currently living in Ada, Ohio.

    https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ad...ab18ab874f1ade

And find these coordinates 40.762937, -83.819924. That's my house. I'm the brown roof house by the big parking lot. If you zoom in you can see my garage and part of my deck.

I was meaning to go down there after I started to get into Sails of Glory, but never really had the time to do so this summer because of work.

You can check out members if you go to the members List, and click on advanced search on the top bar.
that will bring up a form, to fill in. Ignore everything except country flag. Click on your country flag and return.
You should then get a list of all members in your country with their forum visits.

I live in the middle of the coalfields in the state of New South Wales, Australia...so one may not expect to see many beautiful panoramas from here

    strip_coal_mining_large.jpg

However we are fortunate enough to also be in the middle of the Hunter Valley wine region

...and now for the obligatory kangaroo photo...

    Roos in vineyard.jpg

Hope to see you all here one day for a glass of wine...or lump of coal, whatever tickles your fancy!!!

I am from Derby in the United Kingdom. Have been living here since 2009.

Prior to that if anybody has heard of Last of the Summer Wine ... I used to live not far away from Holmfirth, West Yorkshire.

Marana, AZ - just far enough north/west on I-10 to not be in the city limits of Tucson (thank goodness), and just far enough south / east on I-10 to not live in Phoenix. Any more desert rats out this way still? I know there used to be...
