I'm smack dab in the middle of the States.
I am in the better part of Australia, Queensland (and in Toowoomba away from the hassel of Brisbame, Gold and Sunshine Coast).
Another Australian member here, living in Brisbane just about an hour's drive down the road from Alastair up in Toowoomba.
Canberra, a little further south than Toowoomba or Brisbane.

I am somewhere in the middle of a cornfield.
France, West coast, 250 kms north of Bordeaux. That's our "main base", close to La Rochelle:

West Coast of North America,
I thought I was all alone in my WoW Addiction, but now I have a support group from around the world, and they are willing to feed my habit. The world is a lot smaller these days, due the the miracles of modern science!
"Lotus Land" is an expression used in Canada for the balmy West Coast, the ideal (idealistic, utopian) place to live in our country (the lower part doesn't freeze solid in the winter, so the rest of the country is jealous).

I live in a puddle.....I don't think it has stopped raining here since Jan 2012!
Speaking of feeding my habit,
Are there Skype Gamers out there interested in a two-on-two or three-on-three WGF game on 23-24 March 2013? I can arrange to host a video conference call up to two hours long for up to 10 people, if they (we) all have Skype. We can be anywhere in the world, if some people don't mind playing in the middle of the night, or early morning. Please enter your info on the Skype Players Forum, and PM me if you want to try this.

You separated UK/(North-)Ireland from Europe, Mr. Cameron. ...äh, sorry I mean Col. Hajj!
Yes, only as it pertains to the data behind this poll.
I'm living in Franconia - northern region of Bavaria - southern part of Germany - forming with Poland and the Czech Republik the heart region of Europe.

Although now I live in this town's suburbs, Opole is the town I was born and brought up, however my parents found their home here after the war. It is a middle size town of south-west part of Poland but has a very unique, mostly German history which can be seen in almost every street. I love to explore it's history, searching for old monuments and buildings. The town benefits from it's multinational (German, Czech, Polish) cultural history and it's quite convenient to live and work in. I can truly say it is my "Heimat". Here you can see the canal bank that is called Opole Venice.
Born and raised in Manchester, studied in Sheffield. Live in Alkmaar (cloggieland).
so I'm from UK but I live in Europe. So I voted europe, it's a win-win.
Right smack in the middle of Arizona, in the Valley of the Sun, Southwestern USA.

25 miles east of Tallahassee,(the capitol) Florida,I'd post a picture but an alligator stole my camera.
Staunton, Virginia - The heart of the Shenandoah Valley and the center of 'Old Virginia' (I.e., before 1863)
Born in Rome but now live in the municipality of Ariccia (south of Rome, in the area called "Castelli Romani").

The 13 hour drive is due to the moat (Strait of Georgia) and a few hills (Rocky Mountains). Straight line distance is only a bit under 500 miles / 750 kms. But you can't drive straight until you get over the hills, to the flat land in the Prairies.

I live in the upper left hand corner of Oregon. Astoria is the oldest American town on the west coast, founded in 1811, so that makes us young by some standards. My town is upriver from the mouth of the Columbia, but looking west I can see the bar of the Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean (graveyard of the Pacific, but aren't all bars graveyards of something?). Looking 4 miles due north I see 4 miles of water and then the other bank. The Columbia is indeed a wide river and once a guest asked us what that island was over there (it was the state of Washington).
unny how the Uk stands apart from Europe..last time I checked Uk was part of Europe..even thought they don't like to pay with euro's

South West Uk living, but am Yorkshireman, not many will have heard of my home town except UK members, but we have had a few Fameous people in the past.
Colchester, my home town, is a tiny bit older than that. Pliny the Elder mentions it in AD77.
I dare say the Memphis Egypt flight can trump that but hey

Our castle, built on the foundations of the temple of Claudius.
I count myself lucky enough to live on 31 acres in a smallish (8000 Pop) Rural town on the South Coast of NSW about 2 1/2 Hours South East from Canberra where Zoe lives. I moved from Sydney over 20 years ago & have no regrets. We have an active Games Club, an Aerodrome, excellent Hospital, golf, bowling & tennis clubs & they play all types of sports. I back onto a National Park & the Great Dividing Range plays a backdrop to our river.
Map & pics follow.
