Profile Publications

Many of us may remember the 'Profile Publications' series of booklets about famous aircraft. I have discovered that a large number of them are available on the http://www.scribd.com website. If you type "Profile Publications" into their search engine including the inverted commas to see a list of which are available.

As I was growing up my best friend's dad was an avid RC scale modeler, he bought the entire multi volume set in hard back in the 60's. I spent hours pouring over them then and have found four at a used book stores over the years. He's in his 70's now and asked if I still wanted them last month, guess what I said?

Thanks for sharing this link. I still have the first Profile I bought back in 69. Last year at Enfilade I walked away with a bunch of "new" profiles to add to the old collection. I might have to join the scribd group and download the ones I don't have. Yes sir, a walk down memory lane.

Hang onto your DVD, Tim. There are only 159 of the 262 issues available for free download. And I'm not sure if the remaining issues are available for free downloading somewhere else on the web.
