Default Canada Air and Space Museum

Yesterday I was lucky enough to b invited to a function at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. we had a couple of hours to wander the museum's hangars. Wow! there is just so much wonderful stuff here! Notable exhibits - the sole surviving AEG G.IV, a Nieuport 12, Liberator, Junkers J.I, Sopwith Snipe, and the only surviving pieces of the Avro Arrow. But there's loads more. I took a heap of photos and put them in an album here:

    Enjoy

A very impressive set of pictures Dave.
I bet your camera was red hot if you did all that in two hours.
Thanks for showing them to us.

The storage hangar is full of interesting things, it's a shame they haven't got room to exhibit it all. David, have they brought the Beaufighter indoors yet?

Wouldn't being in Canada make it the "Eh-r and Sp-eh-ce Museum"?

    :)

Great pic of the museum. Is it in Halafax? I went there on a cruise 2 years ago but was unable to get there.

Yes, its in bits! The aft fuselage is in the restoration hangar. The nose is in the foyer. They are looking around for a second engine at the moment

A nice trip to the museum, Mr. Manley.

The pitures are perfect and it was fun to walk throug the album. I'm impressed by the variety & quality of the shown aircrafts.

    Thank you for sharing this.
