As many of you know, over a year ago I looked into producing a T-shirt that we could all enjoy wearing during are games. We ran several polls and the Fokker Dr.I came out on top (as it so often did during the war!). I ran into several issues with the artwork we were going to use (it was not optimized for screen printing) and eventually the project got put on the back burner so to speak for more pressing projects. Until now! I have had new custom artwork designed specifically for screen printing T-shirts for us. The graphics will be imprinted with a medium grey ink. I personally checked this ink color on each of the shirt colors and it give a very nice, noticeable, but not so "here I am!" bright print.
The front of the shirts will have the Wings of Glory Aerodrome logo centered on the chest (called a Button print), 5" across :
The back of the shirt has the Dr.I in the center of the back, 14" across:
The available colors will be:
Black
Cardinal Red (a darker red)
Charcoal Grey
Navy Blue
Olive
The mockups above are not 100% accurate color wise of course.
I have put these up as pre-order items on Aerodrome Accessories. In order to produce these, I need sell at least 29 of them. To help this along, if you order between now and February 16th, you will save $2.00.
As a bonus option, you can add your name or user name from the site on the sleeve. I don't have a photo of this, but it looks really cool!
We have very options when it comes to WWI aircraft themed shirts, so here is your chance to make it happen. And if sales of this shirt are good, I will be producing other planes as well.
