The Warrant Officer Ayao Shirane checked the six to the 海軍大尉 Kaigun Daii Tetsuo Iwamoto. It was his first mission and he was honoured to have such pilot to flank.

Iwamoto and Shirane, hearing an explosion, suddenly turned their heads. But fortunately the P-40 missed its objective.
Finally Shirane reached the battle and try to fire at the Wildcat, but the US pilot were so skilled and avoid the damage
心配しないでください Keep calm suggest him Iwamoto and, when the other Wildcat tried to reach the ship, only the experience of the US pliot saved him.
Unfortunately one of the Grumman F-4F reach its target and let its bombs do the rest.
そこに復讐 Vengeance will be our thought Iwamoto and jump back into the fight. With a perfect maneuvre the two Zeros arrived to the Wildcat's back and there was no hope for the Yankee.
Jap's radio started to creep and the voice of the 海軍大尉 Kaigun Daii Saburo Sakai filled the cockpits "私が来ている I'm coming!!!" and he left a single burst to the P-40 approaching the survived battleship.
あなたの側で 'メートル I'm on your side cried Iwamoto and the two officers fired to the remaining P-40
Exalted from his success Ayao Shirane appeared on the Warhawk's side and sent its crew to sleep with fishes.
Seeing what was happening to his comrades the last US pilot survived tried to escape, but he was reached by Iwamoto and Sakai who tranform his Wildcat in a ball of fire.
With no Yankees in sight, the surived ship was escorted to the rest of the fleet.
