Here's another link for those of you that don't have Facebook.

Shouldn't be a problem to fly with the Schwalbe from Michigan to Ohio.
WOW! I'd love to see that. Love the colour scheme on it too (now thinking of a paint project...)

I am going to Wings Over the Beach in May and was told when I was there for the WWI weekend that there is a chance the 262 will be there. Also looks like the Wooden Wonder will also be there. I hope to see both of them.
It would be great to see those. Enjoy yourself.

Thank you for sharing, looks like a great time. I hope to see the ME-262 in May. At the MAM WW2 Air Show. They do fly byes at the museum, but do not want to land it on the museums grass runway!

I wasnt aware there was a flying 262. This is amazing news thanks for sharing. Hopefully it will come to an airshow a little further south. ;-)

It is one of the reproductions built recently. It has two Lear jet engines. They claim with those engines and the lack of any armament, the flight characteristic are the the same as the originals. One interesting feature is the ability to convert it from a single to a two variant by switching out the canopies. If you check out my profile i have albums from trips to the MAM.

Here you go.

I wonder how many are around?
Karl
If either one of them is there you will all see the pictures of them.
