SBD-3 Dauntless of VB-6 & VS-8

a mixed flight of Dauntlesses supplied by those nice people from MAS/Algernon Product/Warbird Desk Collection, from the "Dive Bomber" set.

Built straight from the box & decalled, these are little gems. Just a touch of paint here and there to rectify a couple of small painting slips. Once again they are 1/144 and could hopefully get into action this holiday (maybe...)

VB-6 is plain white star, VS-8 has the red disc.

Lovely models; I'll be interested to compare the quality of the F-Toys release due later this month, complete with a Kiwi SBD and USAAF A24 Banshee. Now if only someone would produce an affordable TBD-1 Devastator rather than the very expensive (albeit beautiful) ACI offering!
