Another very moving poem Andy.

Whilst we are safe ,warm and in the bosom of our families, it is good to remember all those who put their life on the line to keep it so, even though we can not thank them all by name, we can at least raise a glass now and then.

Well its Christmas Day here in the Antipodes so Santa will be approaching "touch down" in your area soon.

Cheers Barry,that's not half of it, got day shift New years Eve andNew years day too.
Having my Xmas dinner on boxing day.
Looking at the weather here I'm remembering rather fondly having Xmas dinner on the beach near Frankston when I lived over in Australia.

Merry Christmas to all. At the moment I am down in Brisbane with my family and it is so and humid and hot even the crows are flying upside down to keep cool and no air con in the house. Cannot wait to get back to Toowoomba up in the hills where it is a dry heat. I Skyed my daughter who is in England at the moment she is wearing more clothes than an Eskimo (Inuet) too cold for me!
