There were some WW2 aircraft, which flew so slowly that, to scale, their move would be less than the length of their base e.g. the Fairy Swordfish. I have thought of a simple modification to the game's movement system, which would allow 'accurate' slow movement and the production of movement decks for them.
1) Print the black arrowhead at the top of the plane's base or card. Attachment 64781
2) Change the movement cards so the 'brackets' point downwards. Attachment 64784
3) Move the top of the aeroplane base or card up to the appropriate bracket. Attachment 64785
I am sorry about the size of the pictures but I am not very good at using this system. Hopefully you will all be able to understand what I am proposing. As I hope you will see, the plane has moved forward less than the length of its base.
With apologies to Max for adapting one of his cards.
