Several months ago I was looking for a Von Korff Gotha, finally found one for sale and ordered it. It arrived and I was disappointed to find that the top surface was very faded, like it had been sitting in the sun for a long time. When I recently acquired a second Von Korff Gotha in bright colors, I knew that the faded one had to be repainted...

Morning Chaps
I used polyester / cotton mix thread form the craft shop for the stays.
The beauty of this it does not fray or go hairy once it is done and I think it looks the part.
I have tried fly fishing thread but you must use the none waxed as it will not stick otherwise.
