Well done James.
That looks superb.

Thanks James! It looks very cool.
Great looking aircraft there Tim. Very nice. Sorry, could not give you rep yet.
Super set of planes Tim! Jacobs is one of my favorite pilots.

Great looking kites!
Teaticket, I really like them!!!
Thanks guys. I'll try to get paint info up tomorrow.
Very fine looking machines Peter. I always did like black and white stripes.

Nice scheme Peter
It has been a while since I've trolled this thread. What lovely groups of planes!
Well done, all - this is certainly an inspiration for those of us wanting to 'fly' multiple planes from the same unit. Perhaps I'll have something to add to this thread in a couple of weeks...
All the best,
Matt
Looking forward to your new flight of birds here Matt.
Thanks Chris. My eye was caught by the photo in the Fokker DII painting thread. In a search for them I found it was green. After doing one I found myself ending up with three with a slight variation. My first group of like planes. I definitely will have to do this again.
Sorry!
Thanks Nick. Sad to say the first time all 3 flew together they all went down!
That is mean luck Peter. i know newly finished planes are renowned for going down, but all three in one game just ain't right somehow even for a German.

Now I understand.

Thanks for the kind words guys. These were really fun to paint.
I just received two Fokker DIIs from Shapeways, and I have a line on a couple more from a friend locally here - I was inspired by your Kesta 4 lads, Peter - I may end up copying your scheme here. Thanks again for sharing them.
All the best,
Matt
Matt, look at the 2nd post on the Official Fokker DII painting thread. I based my 3 off of this photo. Not all have the B&W striped fuselage. If I get another 1 or 2 I'll do them for the same unit but a slightly different scheme like some of the others.
Lets see some photos when you're done!
Very nice Tim! Background is also pretty cool.
Thanks! Something wrong with the camera, though; lots of out-of-focus shots
I must try again this weekend.
Like the group shots!
I have some extra Fokker DVIIs on the workbench but will be awhile before getting to them.
Again, nice work Tim.
Nice one Tim, and a reminder that not so long ago I bought a couple of white Fokkers to complete mine. Another job in the pipeline.

These (and the next four) are Saschenbergs..................that way I can keep the underwing lozenge rather than apply lozenge decals myself to a Goring.
You got it right the first time, Peter! I'm getting fed up of fiddling about with lozenges!
Very nicely done, Mark!
F-Toys?
Superb Mark.

Great flight of DXIIs Tim! Now I want some.
Those aircraft are looking gorgeous Tim.
You can be very pleased with them indeed.
