Found this today about a movie called "SHADY LADY". About a WWII raid on Borneo by B-24's that lasted 16 hours. Looks pretty good.

They had to put it down on a Saltpan in the remote Outback.



Amazingly, parts were ported in, and it was flown to the nearest airfield, just before the next spring tide which would have flooded the saltpan.

The damaged nose turret and various other non-essential parts were discarded to lighten the plane, and are still in situ.





On arrival, it was felt that the damage from the fighter attacks and landing was just too severe for it to fly combat missions again.

The site where ‘Shady Lady’ landed is today an Australian Heritage Site and in the Australian Heritage Database with parts of the aircraft still there and the tracks from her landing still visible, frozen in time due to the geological features of the area.

Hmmok they seem to have a real B-24 Liberator but the acting reminds me of the movie "Fortress".

The B-24 they used is "Witchcraft". They photo shopped the new name for the movie.

As I mentioned before the plane in the movie is WITCHCRAFT. Here is a photo of the oridginal WITCHCRAFT.

Went to a show today and here is pic of WITCHCRAFT. This is the one in the movie. I was told she is the only B-24 flying.
