Tired of just the same Zeros? Try the A6M3 Hamp. Basically a clip wing Zero/Zeke for WOW/WOG. The changes in the aircraft gave it better roll and dive characteristics. On the downside it was overall less maneuverable and had a shorter range. It probably could outperform most of its oponents. A fun and relatively easy conversion.

Stronger too... the A6M2 was more maneuverable, but had a nasty habit of getting wrinkles and even cracks in the wings when diving. They had to thicken up the skin a bit, but the added weight caused a significant performance penalty in turning.

The C deck is really appropriate for the A6M3 rather than A6M2. Both were considerably more fragile than comparable fighters of the era.
