Very sweet Mattias! Well done.
Well done on introducing another new aircraft to the Showcase Matthias.
Rob.
Great work! Are those decals on the wings? If so, which company? And what steps did you take to get them around the struts?
Hi Darryl,
the lozenge-print is a decal. Got it from http://www.hobbyshop.cz/shop/81-1-144-decals?p=3.
It looks very good (in my opinion one of the best looking lozenge decals).
But you have to be careful when you try to fix it on the wing. Just wet the backside-paper with a brush (avoid watercontact to the printed side).
Tip: I tried to put a layer of varnish on the decal (befor cut out) an found it works better!
Before adding the crosses, I always add a layer of varnish to the decals!
To get the decals arround the struts is simple:
Paint the wing in the main color of the fabric (in this case: upper dark blue, under ocre).
Cut out the space for the struts in the decal an fix it on the wing. If it don´t works - try again.
Have fun.

Lovely work! I must admit I'm rather intimidated by the lozenge decals.
That's a corker!
Rep!
I hope to get around to my 4 some day....................
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
That look great! Lovely representation of a lesser-known Pfalz design... the other "winner" of the First Fighter Competition at Aldershof in February 1918. Absolutely rep-worthy!
Very nice Alex. May have to get some of these!
