Nicely done! You should take some solo shots of that green and tan camo one for us!

Sure, I've got these two. I'll have to take some better pictures when I get a chance.

I based it on the card in flight of giants and made the cages from styrene and the insides of lighters. I may try it on the Ares ones some time as they look just right.

Those Capronis are very well done Ian.
I especially like the cage for your rear gunner and the cammo effect.

Shapeways Caproni Ca.3. Not very historical livery.

A very nice rendition Roland. I can see we are going to have some real competition when the next painting challenge comes along.

Well folks, I just could not help myself. While not a repaint, this is a modification that I was compelled to do after all my work on Shapeways Be2c and Caudron G4. The Caproni looked incomplete. A few photos showed me the way to adding nacelle strut support not included. I used heated sprue extrusions and 32 gauge wire plus my very versatile Bandai 144 crewmen. Ah, now I feel better.Click image for larger version.

Here are shots of my 1st Bombardment Squadron Capronis - they'll eventually be flying over the water instead of sitting on it...

Hey Chris - I agree. I was looking for an Ares model for quite a while and finally decided to paint my own. It turned out OK. Plus it comes with the flight crew.

That's a great looking Caproni. Still haven't got one in my collection yet so may have to follow your lead and paint my own.

There has been some kind of cock-up with my membership Auto-Renewal...

I no longer have my Custom Avatar and my Private Messages have been reduced to a maximum of 100 (despite my having more than 970!).

The Mods are looking into it.

I have restored your Gold membership manually.
Has that fixed it for you Tim?
PM Keith and see if he has got your membership renewal through O.K
