Voilą le soleil d'Austerlitz!
More easy repaint.
F. Hebty's Aviatik D.I Flik 42J with original Nexus airplane card.
Those skulls on the fuselage are fictional but look good on this plane.
Voilą le soleil d'Austerlitz!
Nice work, Sven!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Very neat solution with the added interest factor added.
Great stuff Sven.

Great pair of Austrians Sven. Thanks for the tip with the decals. I have a set like yours. What were the issues you had?
Great paint schemes - especially the first one with the blue and turquoise pattern areas!
Nice card, Mike!
I thought I would give myself a little challenge and try to replicate the Austro Hungarian 'leaf pattern' camouflage. It didn't turn out as bad as I feared nor as well as I hoped. I need to add the aircraft serial number - 139.99 on both sides of the fuselage.

Nice work, Gary That looks like it took some time and patience!
Well done Gary. The effect is very good. I like the splash of Austrian color on the wheel hubs as well.
Very pretty, Gary! The "leaf" pattern cammo looks completely appropriate on this type. Your D-1 is an eye-catcher for certain!
On such tiny models, tires and wheel covers are difficult work. Well done there!
Another grand paint job, Gary!
You'll soon have as many planes as me!
I laugh in the face of danger - then I hide until it goes away!
Not a bad job at all Gary.
I tried it once.
Yours looks better.
Rob.

Really nice job Gary. You are becoming the Flik Master!
Great job on that camo, Gary.
I wouldn't dare try that
Mine would come out like Jackson Pollock with Parkinson's ....
