Here is a repainted Albatros D.II. This one particular I dropped and broke the prop off. Since I had to repair it, I figured I would do something different with the markings. I found this scheme in on of the Austria-Hungary Books. It was on a different model plane, but I liked it.

Spinning Disc Prop -- Aerodrome Store. If anyone knows of anybody making these again please share. These are pretty darn awesome.

DecoArt Americana Cadmium Yellow to paint out the fuselage. Thanks to Teaticket for finding this color for me. Good eye! It matches pretty darn good.

    Decals -- Home made decals.

Nice one Dan. I was wondering what you were going to do to that DII you mentioned a while back.

Nice one Dan - already repped elsewhere

Gary, love that Jasta 22 DII. Rep inbound

Tim - going back to March as I've been AWOL - Those Albatros aircraft are awesome, again. I'm now wondering if you have more Albatros scouts than I have models in my entire collection. Rep inbound.

Looking at the paintwork on all of these models, I'm wondering just how you get those lovely smooth finishes (Yes I did note that Dan's is an Ares repaint, but excellent just the same). Am I right in thinking the rest are Shapeways, or are you, Tim, still painting up your collection of F Toys?
