Whole lot of great looking aircraft in this showcase. Brilliant work folks.

Your 'Jasta Tiger' scheme is quite eye-catching, Peter - no difficulties identifying that pilot from the ground, to be sure!
Apropos that your lovely bride vanquished you so quickly - you're a smart man to keep her interested in the game that way!
All the best,
Matt
The tiger looks fantastic!
Lovely paint job Peter. Tiger (Crouching?) v Dragon (Hidden?) huh? No contest I reckon
Sorry, rep gun jammed, but worthy
Looks very stylish Mark, and a nice change from the usual more regular pilots aircraft.

I second your notion, Rob! That green and yellow with the white comet is very refreshing - great job on this scratch-build all 'round, Mark!
All the best,
Matt
Thanks for the kind words. I went with the green upper wing rather than camo based on the well-known photo of him standing next to it that is on Wikipedia. You can't see the top of the wing, but the leading edge is clearly a solid colour.
It was fun working out a way to do lozenge camo freehand. But I don't think I'll do too much more of that (and anyway, it's time to work on some Entente birds). I might have had more to show this long weekend if I hadn't run out of 0.5mm polystyrene card...
Excellent work Mark!
Super job!

Great scratch build and I love the paint job.
Here's to them what are like us. Damn few and they're all dead.
Hello,
I'm currently working on a Valom Rudolf Berthold. There are different paint schemes out there and I was wondering which is the correct one? Maybe there are an early and a late version?
Body: red/blue or red/green/blue or red/green/blue with semi-transparent german insignias?
Struts: black, red, or blue?
Undercarriage wing: blue/lozenge or green?
Nice looking aircraft. Well done.
Very smart they look too Florian.

I REALLY like the yellow/white one - very nice indeed
Never Knowingly Undergunned !!
Fantastic paint job. The yellow and white one is a eye catcher.

Great work, Florian. It seems much more than "acceptable" as you write
It would be nice to see them live in the action.
Will you consider to join us for Wings of Prague in april?
Great work, Florian.
I actually prefer your blue one over the yellow, but I would be glad to have either in my hangar.
The blue one is a nice neat colour scheme, did you use decals for the black diagonals on the yellow plane or are they hand painted?
Both planes are very good though.
Saubere Arbeit!
Voilŕ le soleil d'Austerlitz!
The decals make a very neat job, I think it is very difficult to match it with hand painting.
Who's decals did you use? I was going to try and hand paint something like this but I will use decals if I can get them.
Magnificent!

Lovely work, indeed, Florian! I have always like the MJ 3 Fokker DVII but have been daunted to try painting the stripes on the fuselage - looks like a decal is definitely the way to go
All the best,
Matt
Florian that is very fine workmanship indeed, I am loth to put my planes on here but I have spent a lot longer on them than you would think from the finished work and I also wanted to thank Tim (Flying Helmet) in public for sending me the decals so I could complete these, I also stole his idea for the backgrounds, because I think they look great.

Great job, John. I have the decals and some spare Goerings.
Hope mine look even half as good as yours when I finally get around to tackling them.
Very nice John. One day I will to do a flight of J18.
They do look very fine John, and I have always liked that paint scheme.

Cheers guys, it's a relatively easy colour scheme to do, but very colourful and dramatic.
Pete I'm impressed you have a few spare Goering's to paint up. You can't get those for love or money now. I'd be inclined to sell them and pay my mortgage off.
Lovely work, John! Like Rob, I've always liked the scheme - it's a striking color and paint job that shows well on the game board/mat.
All the best,
Matt
Great work John. Beautiful paint jobs Thanks for sharing.
Thanks guys, simple and striking is good in my book. The background helps to show them off well and this is the one that Flying Helmet and FO Kyte use so there has to be some kudos there as well. Following in the footsteps so to speak. Just a long way behind.
