I'm sure you would be even more interested if Good Old Kyte's could continue his career during Battle of Britain, wouldn't you Rob? Maybe the next WWII campaign could take place over Dover?

    Perfect, Marco.

Would be the best if you place this nice roster in a separate thread like the

Tsubai Squadron, 703 Koukutai, Carrier Hiryū, 2nd Carrier Division (Blackronin)

    or

Genda's Blade, 343 kokutai, Yap island, 3nd Division (Scanetsu).

Get shure you have the advanced solo rules from Blackronin and start with Mission 1: Bombing Midway.

If you got questions for the campaign or rules, visit us in the Officer's Mess or the mission description thread.

With WW II Kyte Junior in the cockpit of a Spitfire and the famous Polish Squadron & pilots?

    That would be very cool.

A simple 5 or 6 mission Battle of Britain short campaign like Midway Rising. ...with Stukas, He111 and maybe the upcoming Me110 Zerstörer.

Then I'll write my AARs in two langauges.

"Verdammt Staffelführer, der Tommy hängt mir Genick!"

Yes, the only thing that I did yesterday was starting my research about JNAF/Dai-Nippon Teikoku Kaigun Koku Hombu. I thought I could go crazy when I was looking for the grades unitl I found this site:

    http://die-cast-army.over-blog.com/article-5351869.html

Next step was to organize the sheet, but when I finished I thought I didn't do a bad work (expecially thinking that I came back from work+training at 9 pm).
Now I want them fly high and take down as many US planes as they can

Each successful mission flown gives the pilot 1 Experience Point (XP). Successful missions are those where the pilot is not shot down and fires with success against at least one enemy plane.
Each plane shot down gives the pilot 2 Experience Point.

The first plane shot or the second successful mission erases the Rookie ability.
Three successful missions and a pilot becomes veteran with the Evasion ability.
Per 3 XP's a pilot can choose an ace ability.
When a pilot gains 5 kills he can chose an ace ability.
But this means Chapman, Yaeger & Grumpman will become aces abilities?

Think we should make a difference between an ace status and and an ability achieved by experience points.

I'll limit it to one ability per pilot. When a pilot shot down his 5th enemy he can choose a second one.

    Well done Sven

I hope to play this mission soon: unfortunately tomorrow I'll work from 4 am 'til 9 am, then I'll go sleep and I'm not sure to have time to play it .
But to compensate I'll have a WWI match at Ducalutra's shop after dinner: I hope my sweet DVas will do their work

I'm glad that my VF-8 commander survived the last mission. Doesn't matter if he was shot down and didn't score a kill.

Most important thing is, that he can lead VF-8 into the next dangerous mission:

Scenario 5: Akagi Down! (An attack with fighters and dauntless on the Akagi)

I'm a little bit sorry for Lt.JG. Hunter. He did a great job, shot down nearly 3 Japanese opponents and has to lay in the hospital for the rest of the campaign.
