Hi Dave.
The card is Ares official. I just added the pilot information and picture.
For the clever stuff like the glare lines or shading you need to ask Old Guy. I am only just starting to work on that sort of finesse.

Here is a flight of early war P40-Es.
Prop spinner colors are added on some as this allows a positive visual ID during game play that can easily be matched to a top down view on the card. For example, the card won’t clearly show the shark’s teeth, or tail stripes. It helps keep things straight when there are 12 planes swirling around on the table.
From left to right;
1- A heavily weathered P40E from the 17th PS. There is only one known photo of a 17th PS P40 in the National Archives.
2- A shining new P40E stationed at Pearl in January of 42. Red prop spinner added for ease of identification during game play. Tail stripes aren’t quite correct, but the closest I could find.
3- A heavily weathered P40E named “Old Exterminator”. Black prop spinner added for game play identification. Not possible for me to hand paint a tiny 5 digit tail number as was present historically. Thinking of getting gear to make homemade decals. I might do that this week. During my research on this scheme I found four different variations of how this plane should look, with no actual period photos. Some actually show it with no tail numbers anyway. Who knows what is actually correct?
Now it’s time to card these up along with the Catalina I just finished!
Great cards Dave.
Yeah, the planes look a lot better with the fuselage star.
Thanks Peter. That is what happens when you work on this stuff after midnight!
Those P40s look Grrrreat! A pun... a quip... a jest. Is this thing on?
I especially like Old Exterminator.
Excellent work on the planes and the cards, Dave.
Those without P-40s must be drooling.
P.S. Lucky me has 5 Ares (that have yet to make it to the table)
Thanks guys.
Old exterminator was my favorite too. It was hard to resist putting the shark mouth on them all, but variety is the spice of life!
A couple of aircraft flown by Lt. Col. William "Bill" Reed. I used Model Master paints (RAF colors for the AVG version) and MISCELLANEOUS MINIATURES decals except for the "75" on the nose, those are I-94 Decals. See http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/375/10/2 for color patterns for his AVG aircraft and https://modelingmadness.com/review/a.../40/tc40na.htm for an example of Bill's 7th FS plane.
Very nice P40’s Dave!
A very tasty offering Dave. Sure makes my mouth water.

Nice P-40s Dave. I love the 'left on' British roundels.
Thanks gentlemen.
"Mouth water."I see what you did there.
Peter - yes, when I decided to do his airplanes the uniqueness of his Tiger was a pleasant surprise for sure.

Hi, nice job.
Maybe you should add some white with your blue canopy painting?
Nice. Can't help but love the Tigers!
