My initial go at RNAS 9.
I sold those off to another member and have just started to repaint them for my self with this guy...

Nice looking flight you have there Jon.
All scratch built too!
Rob.
They sure are! And that's a nice looking photo box you have there too
These repaints are wonderful. So are the scratch builds. Beautiful.
My Breadner, official camel using SRAM decals.
Lovely decals though delicate. unfortunately my set bled a bit when water was added, but I managed a repair .
My latest Camels
C Flight Naval 10
Congrats on your C Flight Chris. They really do look just the ticket.
I look forward to seeing them in the flesh as it were at some later date.
Rob.
After reading Keith's review and the following comments,
I made some quick touchups to my just delivered Elwood Camel.
Shaved and repainted the prop, drilled out the wing cut outs. Painted the cylinders a blacked steel.
Touched up the cut outs and the edges of the wings. Finally, I gave the silver guns a "Blued" color.
Took about 1.5 hours. Now its ready for a mission.
Sorry the picts aren't better....darn technology

What a line up!
If only Ares was as prolific with great schemes as you are, Ian.
re my earlier thread regarding Belgian Camels, Mantel's piece is now complete.
Tres jolie DM
Nice repaint DM! But now I'm tempted to repaint a Camel myself... Must resist...
That sure is a colourful repaint Dave.
A very nice bit of work.
Rob.
I have not seen psycodelia like that since the 1960s Dave.
That is certainly a grand display of oneupmanship.
Rob.
Another very smart offering Clipper.
Are you using your sticky tape again? It just looks so crisp in its definition.
Rob.
This my attempt at Capt C.M.McEwan, No 28 Sqn, 1918.
A superb bit of painting Neil. I applaud your steady hand.
Rob.
Hands are steady but I think the eyesight is shot now Rob
Looking for my next plane to paint
Neil, great job on Capt C.M.McEwan, No 28 Sqn, 1918. Hand must be very steady. wouldn't know where to start on that one.
Nice conversion there Roland. Did you know that people have been searching for that Ape all over the forum?
Rob.
No Rob, you learn it to me.
I have mine since 2 or 3 years. I have bought it on EBay.
After reading your post, I look at Ebay, and I find 2 complete sets with the 6 figures, but the price is awesome...
But I have learn that I got the secret version...
I have find one set King Kong Konami on EBay ending in 2 days at a reasonneable price :

Nice repaint Roland. N6812 is one of the few remaining original Camels and it is displayed in the Imperial War Museum in London these days. It's on my repaint list to do one day. Its the 2F1 Camel that shot down Zeppelin L53 on 11th August 1918.
Yes, I have read his history, and seen few pictures of the exhibition in the museum. But I think it had been repaint, because there is a difference with the illustration in Osprey Air Vanguard 3 : the blue colour of the wings. And after my checking,I see that I have to add a little repaint on the main boddy, which is full brown...
I'm looking for custom camels to purchase since I do not have the time or artistic ability. Contact me if you have any available.
Very neatly executed Eric.
I'm sure your teammate will be delighted to fly it.
Rob.
"Courage is the art of being the only one who knows you're scared to death."
Lovely job Eric, I have a couple of spare camels and now have some ideas of where to go.
See you on the Dark Side......
