Thank you, gents. These were fun, lots of 'DECKuhls' on some though
The snout took a few tries, Dave, but happy with the result!

Very sharp! I am noticing a lot of small details you've painted, since I have to worry about similar details on the color prints.

Thanks much, guys. The photos are a bit unforgiving since everything shows up with metallic paint but I'm happy with them in person.
Peter - yes, I'll be sticking my nose where it doesn't belong!
Daryl - Bell-Irving will fit right in with my full color Ball and Bishop

Looks like they timed out before you posted them, Peter, I had a look but nothing there to recover.

I suspect they are enroute to Lancaster PA for the Fall In convention next month

Funny, I thought they were there last night. Ok, should be up now.

Yeah, they left without permission early for Fall In!

A couple of these models were quite grainy. I sanded them a bit but didn't get it all out. Luckily they look better than in the photos.

Very nice Nieuports, Peter. Lots of fine detail work. Are the individual pilot markings painted or decals?

Most are decals. Haviland, the white stripe decal was a bit faint so I painted over it. Same with Hinkle. Wider red stripe decal with narrow white stripe over it. Just a bit faint so I painted over them. Fun part an all the fuselage wraps is on the underside. There I had to paint to have them match up. Straight line decals don't line up at all because of the fuselage taper.

Yes, nice card, but I think it might be an 'I' deck, not a 'Y' (no Immelmann)

Certainly is; it would miss it's broad sideslips too.

Escadrille 3 Nieuport 17 card above corrected to display the appropriate maneuver deck for aircraft type.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for the proof-reading. I used a Nieuport 12 card in the Nieuport folder for a reference, not observing the "12".

PS: I added a silver Escadrille 3 'Les Cigognes' ('The Storks') insignia to the card, but moved it in the edit above for better visibility. You can't see the stork emblem on the plane because of the top-down view on the card, although the plane has it prominently on the fuselage.
