Another flight game map I stole, erm, researched with some photoshopping done, I added clouds, contrails and took out some odd bits.

The actual map is 48 x 72 inches at 144dpi and the jpg runs around 3.5 Mb. It can be downloaded here.
The area to the far left is the beginning of Dover if you didn't see the cliffs at first.

    Very enterprising of you Dave.
You can almost see the Hop fields.
I'm sure you are in for a lot of posts about this one.

Thanks for the offer Dave. It's not the image size that's the problem, it would be the wrong era for me, but a wonderful map nevertheless.

If you must know, I am pulling out my Lynn Macdonald books and looking up trench images. I have a very good idea about how trenches are supposed to look, having ben a reenactor over here for a while. we actually had a location with real backbreakingly dug out trenches, support trenches, dugouts and machinegun pits, wire too. I still have my kit, including a very, very nice BSA Enfield with a low serial number (no volley fire sights though). I want to do something really, really wrecked like the cloth guildhall at Ypres or one of the salients. Of course the Marne would be cool too since the Americans were featured there at one point. So a WWI map could be down the road a bit. Thanks for the compliment!

    So stay tuned.

No problem, Col Hajj has been sent the recalcitant files, I think he will post them himself.
