Default WWI Submarine wreck located - (finally got one right!)

Having previously posted threads on WWI submarines that either turned out to be 'an anomaly' or pure speculation, it's nice to find one that's actually true (for a change). Tragic circumstances surround the sinking of HM Submarine J6, only a month before the Armistice, and due to a blue-on-blue. The wreck was discovered off the Northumberland coast in Dec 2011.

Photos are through Flickr; can't be sure whether they're J6 or other J-boats that were put into RAN service and subsequently scuttled in the inter-war period off Australia, but the vis looks very clear for the North Sea in winter!

And another one, though you don't even need a swimsuit to explore it.

Interesting; I'm surprised no one has already tried a restoration.
