Okay...so I've been writing these suckers for a couple days now. What do you think?

I like doing it, but if nobody is reading it or enjoys it, I'll stop.

I personally like them. They are the kinds of posts that people may not reply to, but they do read. If you get tired of making a post every single day, you might consider doing a this week in history. As time goes on, that might give you some room to select the most interesting happenings to post about.

I like doing it daily. It's a nice "before bed" exercise. I can't guarantee I'll be able to keep for an entire year, but I'm planning on doing my best.

The stories just in the first week have been incredible to me. Who would have thought that a German WW1 ace would have been instrumental in the Berlin Air Lift for the USAF? Or who could have conceived of being shot in the chest and BOTH arms and LIVING TO FLY AGAIN!
