Can't figure this picture rotate gremlin! How does it happen? Both shots were are upright on my phone and pc, but uploaded sideways! Rats!
Meanwhile found these crayon boxes at Walmart today in the school stuff section at $1 each. 2.875" x 3.875" x 1.25" deep. Would hold a plane and cards/base and bits nicely. Mini crate, same price holds 8 and they stack and connect. Could be handy . . . sorry my scale does not do metric . . .

Found some ho scale model rail road letters and I thought hmmm.... I have an extra Nieuport 11 so lets see what I can do. Put on a "L" and a really small "R" for a Raoul Luftbery Nieuport 11. Didn't turn out as great as I had hoped, but I am happy.

Might have to make a trip to WALMART. You can always use a storage case for whatever. Thanks for that info David.
I also have that trouble with the phone photos. Someday I will figure it out.
New planes came in from Dave (AIM) so working on them. Hope to get some decaled tomorrow.
Two more Fokker DVII from the Aeronaut books (in the foreground - the background planes, LTn Josef Muller and Oblt Eduard Ritter von Schliech, were posted earlier)
1) White Fokker = Ltn Heinrich Seywald, Royal Bavarian Jasta 23 (acting Staffelfuhrer 29 May 18 to 2 Jun 18 and Staffelfuhrer afterwards).
2) Orange Fokker with the witch = Ltn August Hartmann, Royal Prussian Jasta 30 (Jul/Nov 18). Hartmann called his plane his 'Hexle' (little with in the Palatine dialect).
The lozenge decals for Jasta 23 plus the witch decal (as well as the swan and von Schliech crest in the background) are homemade. The rest are valom decals.

Unreal Paul. Fantastic job.
Those are pretty awesome. I love the one with the broom. I have seen display pieces that don't even come close. Really nice job!
Why would you buy new gallon paint cans at Home Depot? Just because the are silver, cylinders, and the right diameter for . . .

I love this new version of your Martians, Dave! Where/what are you making their heat-ray from? It looks great - and I love the copper coils around the base of the 'turret...:sAprvd:
Keep up the inspirational work!
Always the best,
Matt
Still a work in progress . . .

Heat ray was a contact frag bomb from a 1/48 scale jet model from the spares box
. . now for a suitable base . . .
Nice!
Dave, you are creative, man! :hatsoff:
Just brought a smile to my face dave.
Rob.
Those Martians would almost be enough to draw mw into TnT.................almost.
Brilliant creativity, Dave!
A bitter work, I swear...

Stay tuned for tomorrows finale..:(.
Hope he is a very patient person. Decals I find can be trying at times! The paint jobs look wonderful!
Just to spice up the game...

" . . . . we call it adding a little "heat" here in the AZ! Habanero style! Looks like a nice box of chocolates to me . . . yummers! Well done!
Looks as if a lot of Elves have work for the foreseeable future.
Rob.
Have not been getting any painting done the last few weeks as I have been at a Pennsic War in PA here in the US. Jager did drop by a couple of time so we got a shot of us in my tent (I am in the Green). Got home yesterday and likely will start up painting this afternoon (if my sore exhausted body will cooperate)

That's the problem with those Russian mail-order bride websites. You never know what you will end up with
(Sorry Karl - couldn't resist)

OK, anyone else in the U.K. reminded of the old Cadbury's Smash adverts? :D

And what have you come as, Rob?
Medieval Hand Gunner, Gunners.
Rob.
When I have it belted it rides just above the knees, guess it is that extra yardage it covers.. I was kind to Jager and did not photo his combat boots...
"Wythe" Retinue, which we joined after leaving the Gloucester Household.

There's something to take out those pesky Martians, David.
Karl
They're called tunics; and those are trhe relaxed, camping in hot wear.
here's what I wear when I'm dressing better:

Added some more I-16's. Didn't have any in a whitewash paint job so did these up. Nothing special just white paint and decals.
