Nice planes! I guess the P-51 is that kind of plane that looks good with every scheme and every color. Great job guys. :)

very nice all! the p-51 is such a lovey bird! i especially like old crow and gunfighter. its nice to see minis representing actual a/c ive seen on the airshow circuit.
Thank you for the kind words gents. Making your own decals can be time consuming - at least it is for me - and dangerous... The other day I was working on a "Red Hot Riden-Hood" (nose art for a B-24) and the wife walked in. I tried to tell her it was art, but I still sensed disgust and maybe even a little jealousy. Anyway, I definitely prefer ordering from someone else when I can, but some projects are kind of fun and sometimes necessary in order to get what you want.
After seeing Thomatchef's Mustang I had to have one too . . .

Yeah . . . I know.
What can one say except REP Dave.
Rob.
Nice work Dave. You're really cranking out the Mustangs.
Wow, thats a nest of Mustangs, Dave! :D  REP guns are doing work... :guns: :guns: :guns:
Beautiful work, David!
These planes and their color schemes are so nifty! Great work, David! Wish I had the ability to crank 'em out as you do:p
All the best,
Matt
Sweet Aviation Model kits, 1/144 scale. Vallejo paints - Brown Violet over Light Gray. Reviresco pilots figures inside.

Love the razor-backed 'Stangs and Thunderbolts too!)! Again, these make me wish I could go 1/144, but too much sunk in the "official" scale.
Karl
Very pretty!:clap::clap::thumbsup::hatsoff:
I agree, Karl - the early P-51s without the bubble canopy are very cool - and the OD scheme is so iconic...
Well done, indeed!
All the best,
Matt
Not my area of expertise Kevin, but those Mustangs do look spectacular in formation. Neat job!
The cards for them look great too Mike.
Rob.
These are my P-51 Mk. III from Scotia Grendel.
They will harass enemy planes in the European and Med front one of these days.

Just can't keep up with this prolific output of yours Quim.
Yet another beautiful set of aircraft.
Rob.
And two Mustang IIIs of 19 Squadron somewhere over France, early May 1944. Shapeways FUD models (AE Models) with AA prop discs. Paints used were Vallejo and Italeri, while the decals were from Mehusla (the set is intended for 19 Squadron Spitfire I/IIs in 1940-1941; so far I've used it for 1942 Spitfire Vs and 1944 Mustangs flown by the squadron. One of these days I'll put it to proper use :) ).
Good Day Chaps! Stellar Work in here!
Here are some of my efforts on Scotia Grendel Minis, still sourcing for the proper decals in 1/200 in London:
Mustang Mk1A (I know, no 20mm guns, i need to find a suitable item to substitute)
and a Red Tails P-51D

Nice effort Nicholas, make sure you post the finished products as well!
I have four AIM Mustangs to finish up, this just prompts me to get stuck in to them sooner rather than later.
Here is my 1/144 scale P-51 from minicraft. i did mine in markings for 78th squadron, RAAF, ca. 1946

Hats off to you again Mike for producing some more spectacular cards
A couple of AIM P-51B's, "Ding Hao!" and (with an attempted modification to the canopy) "The Iowa Beaut." The Ding Hao decal is actually 1/144 scale - nice to actually be able to see what I put on the side of a fighter for a change. Attachment 226921Attachment 226922
Guys,
I have been rooting through my Battle of Britain Starter Set doing Ace Skill and Equipment cards, and noticed something. The Plane card I did up for Kinninmont is using the Axis colors for the info boxes. So, upgrading was necessary:

Here is my latest project... the North American P-51D
they are very nice and well painted, are they AIM ?
cheers,
Guus :salute:
Nice clean paint job, Ross. I thought the canopy came out too blue, then I noticed the nose was rather dark, so probably the camera?
Karl
Sweet Mustangs Ross.
Thank y'all very much! Yes Sir, those are AIM products; Thanks Dave!!
And Kevin H. for the decals!
Very nice Ross
