Still disapointed with a mold being wasted on a unpopular Night Fighter variant but happy that this release is Axis Centric as the Axis forces have only one bomber to the Allies three.
Where is it indicated that the Ju.88 is a nightfighter?
Karl
Thank you for those pictures, Daniel!
I'm ok with a nightfigter variant.
We have Beaufighters, Bf.110s & Lancasters.
Looks like the far right two-engine plane is the solid-nosed Dornier...
Like Sven, I am okay with a night-fighter variant - but then, I find myself fascinated by that 'theater' of operations and want to fly some missions with various planes. Are those SM79s I see on the top shelf, far right? Very nice, indeed - I always thought that was a nifty looking bomber, and certainly essential to the Axis effort in the Med.
I look forward to seeing the paint schemes for these:)
All the best,
Matt
New set of photos on WoG FB Page.
Ares girl not included, I am afraid...
They certainly look as if they could soak up a bit of my money Daniel.(The aircraft I mean.)
Rob.
I'll be buying quite a few of that little lot.
I'll do my share of keeping ARES profitable. :money::minis:
SM79!!! I love the damned hunchback! :sAprvd:
Saving my pennies now!!!!
I'm aware of that Reg; my question was where in the display did it indicate a Ju.88 was a nightfighter.
Since the NFs had solid noses, and the bombers (mostly) had greenhouse noses, I would think that's a big enough difference that we wouldn't see both
in the same release.
Karl
Good point Karl!
However, I will settle for anything I can get in the Light to Medium Bomber range after all this time.:surrender:
Rob.
Not necessarily. Here is a excellent night fighter Sven did.

Ooh. That is very nice.
...and we have already rules for "Schräge Musik"

Will they get around to releasing official torpedo bombing rules?
That would be really nice.
Karl
If they are going to sell us Dornier night fighter, perhaps they should release official night fighting rules also.
First pictures of Dornier 17 and Junker 88 painted samples.

Thanks for posting the picture here, Monse!
We non-Farcebook types salute you! :salute::salute:
Yes an expensive release indeed, but I would have readily spend the money a year ago.
They look good, a few touch ups required here and there but on the whole I am satisfied.
although the ju 88s could have four cannons mounted on the fuesalage usualy removing one of the rear guns
Probably a silly question but have we any idea what the prices will be?
