None, fortunately - I have filled (and over-filled) my wish list where these types are concerned.
I hope for a new Pacific Starter Set like we have for BoB now.
So Grumman Wildcats and Mitsubishi Zeroes for me.
I am trying to get carrier planes and Zeros. So that's what I am wishing for.
1) Wildcat
2) Zero
3) He -111
4) ALWAYS P-40 (although a Corsair would be cool).
Wildcats, Reisen, & the Heinkel 111 top the bill with the Warhawk close behind.
Oops, saw this too late to vote. P-40s and He-111s I would think are tops, Zeros and Wildcats next.
If you find the He111 H3, buy it! Very hard to find and getting expensive. I can't believe the prices being asked for the 109e4 of Galland....except, well it is Galland. These WoW models are highly collectible and pricey for us late arrivers to the party!
I remember at our York show 2 years ago found 2 unopened Gallant 109's on the bring and buy for £5 each
Peter, I just bit the bullet and purchased a Galland on eBay. The seller told me he had several more. The price was the most I have ever paid for a WoW but it was a priority to get one. They are still up on eBay for sale. As for the York show, Chris, that is the buy of the Century. Well done. I should send my brother on a buying trip to York since he lives in Rotherham and I live in California. Which show are you referring to? Anyway, you could now sell one of your Galland's and fund a whole Staffel of the new 109e's! The new Ares focus on the Battle of Britain has clearly sent prices through the roof for the original Wings of War models.
I remember.................................
Chris came back to our table, brandishing his £5 Galland Bf.109
I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :envy::envy::envy::envy:!!!!!!!!!!!
Then he told me there was another one still there..............
One 'Eusain Bolt' impression later, the other Galland was mine!
Thanks again, Chris!
You must have found it in a time warp....
My most wanted is to have more time on the gaming table with my WWII planes...
:pint:

Let me tell you a story Peter.
Many years ago, a young man bought three Gallands, intending to form a Rote when he could find a fourth machine. Avidly he started scratching off the insignia from the aircraft and replacing them with wing-men Munchenberg and Benneman for whom he had the cards from the Eagles of the Reich pack. Before he found the elusive fourth aircraft, a passing Christmas fairy waved her wand and three Gloucester Gladiators arrived in his stocking. Led astray from the battle of Britain, he flew off to Malta where he sojourned for many long months producing AAR's for that theatre. Then somehow, he time warped back into the 18th century, and spent even more months sailing around the Med in his Frigates fighting the French and Spanish. After many seasons of hardship a passing god Ares, noticed his plight and warped him back with the enticement of special BOB aircraft.
Pondering upon this lucky turn of events he returned to the task of producing a reasonable force for this engagement. Starting with three new Spitfires and Polish Hurricanes, he was just about to return to the Me109s when a desperate message winged its way to his control center.
Seeking out the hanger in which the German aircraft languished, he discovered, the mutilated Gallands. Much to his surprise, two of them were still pristine, save that one had already had its cards dotted as is his way with cards. Also, they had already had the Oberst's special bases glued onto the Nexus ones and he was much dismayed!
The upshot is Pete, that I have one Galland totally unsullied spare, with a deck of B cards from another pack. Also Galland's aircraft card but no plastic base.
Would you like them?
Rob.
Thanks for your generous offer Rob, I'll PM you.
I think you should continue with your original plan and complete your 4 plane Rote. I have a possible trade in the works.
Thanks again,
Peter
