Here is what I have on the Captured Albatros DIII: Manufacturers Serial N: D.2096/16 was from the first production batch (s/n D.1910/16 to D.2309/16) that was ordered in October 1916, . It was captured after it was shot down by Lieutenant Pinsard on April 22, 1917. Apart from the French colours the aircraft was later flown by Lieutenant Wichard in the original markings.
