I've been playing and collecting boardgames, wargames, roleplaying games etc. for the better part of almost 20 years now.
I started at the age of 12 buying my first minitaure boardgame (Space Crusade), and very shortly thereafter also broke into roleplaying (Dungeons & Dragons). From there the train started rolling, and I've been playing and collecting ever since.
A friend of mine ("Lost Commander") reintroduced me into this game, but the BIG difference from when I played it last until now, was that now there also are these really cool miniatures with their transparent stands. I actually already had a copy of Famous Aces and Watch Your Back lying in my cubbord when I was reintroduced to Wings of War, but I hadn't played it for years. It only took 2 quick games to get me hooked on this game again, and I must say the game now is much better than I remember it.
Currently I play a couple of different roleplaying games and of cause Wings of War. I've been trying to coerce some of my friends into trying Wings of War as well, and I'm reeling them in nice and slow.
I've also started doing some repaints of SPAD XIII's. They will come to represent the 13th Aero Squadron of the 2nd Pursuit Group also known as the Devil's own Grim Reapers. I''ll definetly post some pictures when I have something to show!! Currently I'm at the dissasembly/paintstripping phase of the project.

WELCOME!!
I've just started playing and collecting Wings of War in earnest, so you could consider me fresh out of flight school.
I've signed up with the American Expiditionary Force (A.E.F.), since I find the considerable impact they still managed to create so late in the Great War most admireable. There is also the fact that they mainly used the SPAD VII and SPAD XIII which are my favorites of all fighters in the war.
