Gimbal Mounts Installed! Cockpits Ready for Flight!

Rate this Entry
I placed an order to the Aerodrome Accessories website a few weeks ago and everything came in great condition. In the order was 4 Rotary cockpits (2 Fokker DR.I's and 2 Sopwith Camels) and a set of the gimbal mounts. The cockpits went together with ease the day they were recieved with absolutely no glue needed. My friends love the fact that they can easily see their last maneuvers and I'm loving the fact that everyone loves them! I highly recommend the Rotary Cockpits.

The Gimbal Mounts stayed on my workbench for quite some time. I was trying to figure out how I was going to install them as I didn't want to drill a hole into any of my miniatures. I was also looking for a way to use the gimbal mounts while being able to switch out between any of my minis. That's when I came across a nice little tutorial from BryanR that solved both of these problems quite well. I ordered a razor saw from eBay and got right to work as soon as it arrived. I must say the Gimbal Mounts are fantastic! I love the extra dimension it brings to the table in our games now. Really an eye pleaser for new players and plain observers as well. Another product from Aerodrome Accessories that I highly recommend.
