Painting the Helmut Ju88A (Part 3)

Before I forget the decal images were made simply using Paint Shop Pro (Photoshop type product), the badge was pilfered from the WWW and the font is Ariel in this case.

The colour around the decal was researched here = http://www.paint4models.com/index.html, just enter the hex code directly into your paint package and away you go.

I measured the model with reference to images of the aircraft to find out what size they needed to be and scaled the image. Don't make my mistake, print a copy on ordinary paper and try it for size before printing to the decal paper then you won't get mm and M mixed up! Also print a couple of copies to the row on your paper too, then you have spares just in case.

I've gone with the lighter colour in the splinter camo (RLM 71 Dark Green) and used it to paint over the canopy, the green around the decal and the paint have blended well enough that you can't see a difference.
